Collezione: ALESSANDRO SATURNO

Alessandro Saturno (1983, Naples, Italy) lives and works in Bologna. His research investigates the mystery of matter and spirit, through painting as a vehicle for a higher organic genesis. His pictorial space is a limbo where the figure happens, is formed or dissolves, is looked into, is crossed. A choice of palette that turns to light blues, greens, violets, pinks and oranges generates a tonal painting made up of light and refined contrasts.

The search for possible and impossible forms of the body, for its density beyond the visible and the carnal, leads Alessandro Saturno's figures on a journey of reminiscences. In this series Distante Body the artist, once again, chooses a palette that turns to light blues, greens, violets, pinks and oranges generates a tonal painting made up of light and refined contrasts.
