In the Flowers series, each work is unique, created through inkjet printing on tracing paper and then painted in oil. Drawing on his most recent intimate explorations of still life, and particularly flowers, Grenci creates these limited-edition works specifically for the gallery. The main subject is the iris flower, captured at its peak magnificence, yet already concealing its impending decline. As a divine messenger, the iris acts as a link between the distant world of the gods and that of man. A profound meaning is thus perceived, exploring the relationship between humanity and nature, but above all, the connection between humanity and life and the promise of hope.
