Adriano Altamira x Nuova Galleria Morone | Tote bag
Adriano Altamira (Milan, 1947) is an Italian artist, art critic, and art historian. Active since the 1970s, he is known for his conceptual and photographic work. He has participated in major art events, including the Venice Biennale and the Rome Quadrennial. Altamira has published numerous essays and has taught at various institutions.
For the exhibition Visti per Caso (Nuova Galleria Morone, 2024) Adriano Altamira collaborated in the creation of a exclusive tote bag in collaboration with the gallery. Made of 100% organic cotton, this bag features Leda ritrovata, an exclusive print of the linear relief signed by the artist. The work is inspired by Altamira's intense research into Leonardo da Vinci's lost Leda and the Swan , depicting Leda alongside Zeus (in the guise of a swan) and the two sets of twins: the Dioscuri, Helen and Clytemnestra.
This canvas bag is not only a practical accessory, but also a collectible that blends art, mythology, and design. Lightweight yet durable, it's perfect for carrying books, essentials, or a touch of artistic inspiration wherever you go.
