Collection: MANE ZORRAQUIN

Mane Zorraquín (1985, Buenos Aires, Argentina) currently lives and works in Florence, where she has discovered a deep connection with Tuscany and the rich passage that surrounds it. Her art is a narrative of all that she absorbs: Mane brings to paper what she sees, knows and feels, revealing to us her invisible and personal world.
She works mainly on paper, with diluted acrylic, pastel, pencils and non-traditional materials. In her compositions, every colour, every line and every shape has a purpose. All these elements come together in one simplified expression, which does not necessarily tell the whole story, but is meant to bring to life that feeling she has managed to accumulate within.
Her painting process requires a great deal of fluidity and spontaneity, characteristics that we not surprisingly find in nature. Mane also always leaves one component active ... time, allowing the empty spaces to breathe and travel quietly and unrestrictedly in the paper.
